Fall is Here

The fall weather has finally arrived and with it all the fun fall activities, we have been so busy lately. Connor's Amazing Acres, Halloween Doors and More, picnics, The Walk to Remember Little Tyler, football, Will's fall baseball season and so much more. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful family to share every day with and I am realizing that more every day, especially since losing my grandpa. I miss him so much and still can't figure out how I am going to get through all of the months and years to come without you. He was such a wonderful man and I just want him back, but I know he is in heaven watching all of the things we are doing. Every time we would go over there he would ask what we had been doing so now he gets to watch us and be there with us no matter where we are or what we're doing. Till we meet again grandpa....I love you.

Will and his cousin Tyler

A Story by Will written about his cousin Tyler....

When I was 8 years old I found out my aunt was having a baby. I was so exsited I kept on asking my mom when is hte baby coming. But soon we found out that the baby was missing a kidney. He wasn't going to make it. We were so glum. We gave my aunt lots of presents to cheer her up. We also went to put flowers at his grave. And went to a walk to remember. You walk really far and write a note on a balloon and it floats to heaven. We miss him but one day I will join him.

Last Day of Summer Vacation

Today is the last day of vacation before I have to go back to work. We played the last day at Adventure Landing...which was our favorite summer hot spot. Here are the things I am going to miss about summer....sun by the pool and Adventure Landing, vacations to Atlanta, Disney, Orlando, Aquatica, Ginnie Springs, Blue Springs, Gainesville, taking naps with Joshy, playing with friends and family EVERY DAY, yummy lunch spots, Monkey Jungle, William turning 9 and the big water slide, but especially spending all day with my two boys and my husband. It's so hard going back. I am not going to want to let Joshy and Will go....we had so much fun this summer. Just gotta think of the fun to come.

Figuring Out Photoshop

OK, I was playing around with photoshop and I actually did 2 scrapbook pages. Definitely still need some work, like for one...how do you do borders? So much to learn so little time. Anyways, here are the 2 pages I did so far.

Blue Springs---freezing but oh so fun

We went to Blue Springs today (Eddie, Will, Josh, Me, Can, Matt, Maddy, Jeanna, Charlie, Alexa, Nijel, and Alivia) and the first word to describe it was freezing. It took a good 45 minutes for the women to get in. The guys were braver jumping off a high platform into the 25 ft deep spring to get in even the 2 boys. Of course they were the first ones in. Once we got in it was awesome. The girls went snorkeling into the paths and saw so many fish! It was so clear, I loved it. Then Eddie and Matt went out followed by Lex, Jeanna, me, and the 2 older boys. We couldn't all go at once because someone had to stay behind to watch the little ones. Will and Nijel jumped off the platform continuously. It was so funny to watch them.

What a beautiful day

The sun is out, the ducks are quacking and the boys and Maddy are chasing them trying to give them bread to eat. What a day to play. The kids had a ball at the park with Jeanna, mom and me. They played in the sand, fed the ducks and Will took his scooter to go around the paths.
